Pioneering Micromobility and Battery Swapping Concepts
LEVE Mobility’s expertise in light electric vehicles is rooted in the founder’s long-standing work in micromobility and energy innovation. Beginning with early R&D in the late 1980s, concepts such as battery swapping (1989) and compact city cars (1982) laid the foundation for later designs in Spain under VELMUS IDI. These early advances anticipated global trends in shared mobility, micro-EVs, and urban logistics. Building on this embedded legacy, LEVE Mobility has transferred decades of design and engineering experience into the development of modern vehicle platforms that address today’s last-mile challenges with scalable, zero-emission solutions.

Nissan London Taxi – Programme Leadership in Urban Fleet Innovation
The expertise behind LEVE Mobility includes leadership of Nissan’s London Taxi programme, where programme management and cross-functional coordination ensured delivery across multiple facilities on schedule and to specification. Responsibilities included aligning teams with their missions while also resolving critical supplier and engineering challenges that had blocked progress, unlocking solutions through effective coordination, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement. The role also built expertise in automotive purchasing, cost models, and cost-reduction techniques, knowledge later transferred into large-scale infrastructure projects such as Afriquia. This experience illustrates the embedded capacity within LEVE Mobility to bridge technical, commercial, and operational dimensions to achieve complex mobility outcomes.
